after applying and having 2 rejections i thought that i would be stuck in my dead end job foreva, got in today to find a big envelope containing a unconditional offer to do education studies and sport. the 1 i most wanted to do, so looks like im joining u other student bums in september, carnt wait

got to finish my apprenticeship which lasts another year then i'll be goin to uni hopefully in 2004, been looking at some prospectus's, so much work to do! any one doing courses in i.t?

goin to manchester met, will be doing sport at alsager campus and education at crewe. ive just finished my apprentaship at bently motor cars but i hate it.

What uni you going to and what course you gonna do? I'm at John Moores doing a computer degree, well just finished my HND and doing the degree in Sept.

I am at the University of Manchester. No par time job here, no time for it. Might aswell concentrate on having a good time. Best bet is to work as many hours as poss during the summer so you don't need a job at uni.

I live off me mummy and daddy!!! Can't b assed getin a part time job. Just take me ma 2 Tesco once a week and that keeps her sweet. LOL

Fair enough, i'm not going to argue about that. I think i will have to get a part time job very soon though as this bird i'm after keeps asking me what i'm doing with myself. I dunno that myself, so what can i tell her? I think i'll have a better chance if i'm not so lazy. Anyone know of any part time jobs going?

Stubbsy, I live in Alsager too. My mum is also MMU Sport Science Lecturer so you might have her next year. Ive just finished at Stafford doing engnieering, so im going from a tax dodging student to a worker now, so Im having a new car now too!

Stubbsy u muppet - well done neway - but I knew b4 ne1 in here and ive already spoken to u and congratulated u over the phone.........u knwo when we went george last tuesday, well tghat was celebrating me passing my first year as well; 5 firsts and 3 2:1s in exams/unit work so was chuffed...
bet u wish u wernt spending all those £s now next week

Im going to portsmouth this september to do Internet Technology or Network Design and Management
luckerly i dont have to decide what route i wanna take till year 2 cos both corses are excatly the same in the 1st year
