Cheers. Love them to bits. Only bit I am not sure about is the bonnet stripes. Can change the spec any time before the production date anyway so have time to think.

Yea, I fancied an Impreza now but aside from the insurance nightmare theres two services a yr, one costing about £500, fuel bills etc etc. Mini seemed like a wiser choice. Not as fast but much cheaper to run (5yrs servicing for £100!) and less likely to get jacked. Imprezas are rapidly becoming the new Esocrt RST

Yeh but all that aside, its a 2litre turbo rally monster!! I'm leaning toward the cooper s though Theres a company that will tune it to 205 bhp, Shcintzer or something.

Theres a few. The BBR conversion costs about 2k and gets it to 60 in 5.5 seconds. Best bet is the Works package though. Ups power to just short of 200bhp and doesn't invalidate the warrenty.

Its bad enough nuying me one! The tight gits at the dealership wouldn't throw in any freebies at all, not even clear side repeaters!

did i say that FFS??? NO. PSTFU. I have been in the Cooper S being driven hard and it feels very sluggish. Im probably pulling bout 110bhp and mine does feel nippier on acceleration. I would not be faster than a Cooper S though. Standard Coopers are easy prey though.

The Cooper S is one of the best hot hatches of all time. You are the first person I have ever come across who does not love it to bits. There is more to a car than straight line speed. And for the record, @ your 1.6 sport feeling nippier.
