Why is it that when you start to over take them they speed up? I just nearly killed my Mum and a mate in the park. I was coming up about 35 MPH and this learner is doing a 3 point turn. I stay sweet and wait for them to finish. Then they decide to do 10 MPH on this nice open stretch of a road. So anyway i just floor it in second to try and over take and then they speed up in there serious V8 Golf beast to about 30 and by this point a bend comes up. What a total twat!!! I must have hit this really sharp bend at about 35 and almost lost the back end.

No seriously i wasn't the one in the wrong here!!! The driving instructor should have said something to this dude. I should report him trying to cause an accident.

happened to me too, followed em doing 20 for about 1/2 a mile, go to overtake and they speed up, so i ended up doing like 40 to get in front. GGrrr

no you were just trying to overtake a learner driver, approaching a sharp bend, with your mum in the car

Like i said, they started to speed up as i over took. The bend was like miles away.

Huh? Put 2 & 2 together and wrk it out. I was trying to get in the left hand lane so i didn't hit anything going around the corner. Are you sure your not a learner?

You shouldn't have been overtaking him tat near a bend, how did you know if there was someone coming towards you on the wrong side of the road?

as some1 said everyone has to learn sometime ... and its not nice when knobs are overtakin you all time cause they see L plates
