thats y i sold up. was too fast no knowingly.

everynight (finish work at 10) i was doin over a ton with ease

Astra Coupé Turbo does 152mph standard and with a phase 1 kit will do 160mph @ 6,600rpm so with a phase 2 kit (like I am getting) yeah it will do 160mph+

To be fair Patrick, I think that when Autocar tested it, they could only muster just over 140mph flat out. A phase 2 kit might see you with 150mph, but even that's bloody quick

I doubt it will hit 160mph with a phase 1 kit on it.

Do you realise how the air moves when u hit 150mph? Its a completely different ball game.

Kinda like ICE, when you hit 145db, you need to double the power to get 1 more db, same effect with speed.

As for topic.

Had 115mph (126 indicated) on my 1.4 16v, so not quite the 117mph limit no.

As for the 2.0litre, not had the balls to take it over 135mph yet, but its still got some rpm left, and will pull to 7k with a long enuff road yeah.

However, i value my license
