Ive just finished spraying my spoiler in silver but it looks alot shinier than the rest of the car!

Is there anyway i can dull it down abit?

Any help appreciated.

i heard if you use a rubbing compound on the rest of the car it will bring the dull paintwork up abit and make it shinier.

Whats the rubbing compound called?

I put another coat of laquer on and it looks abit better!!!

Yeh i got the right colour code. It was mixed by a local bodyshop!

Use a compound polish (has small bits in it) to bring the dead paint up, then polish with a finer polish to make it shiny and then wax it to keep it shinier for longer.
