those ones that jeremy beadle sells are fine. we have two and havent had one problem whatsoever with them and plays everything as far as i am aware

dont bother with an ultra cheap one, they only have stereo outputs. I got mine from www.aria.co.uk and was a bit over 50 quid, 5.1 decoder on board etc etc

Get the Altec Lansing ADA885MG speakers from the same site - jobs a good un.

I bought one off a mate 2 days ago, brand new, boxed £20 think it is made by logix or someone lol plays mp3 files though so cant be too bad a spose it says it is only region 2 though, so i dont think i can play any american porn

DVD players from tesco/supermarket are brilliant, normally they are play anything you throw at them so you can download and play all them odd horse fucking movies you download and burn to disk, in my expierice its the MORE expensive DVD players have loads of protection so you cant even play vcds!
