my comp keeps freezing on me and have to turn it of out the power switch on hard drive!! how do i sort the problem out?

if uv enabled system restore try going back a week or weneva b4 the prob started, if that dont work prob best to backup data and rebuild always nice to start afresh sumtimes

goto start, programs, accessories, system tools, then click System restore, think to wen the problem started, make sure restore comp from earlier time is checked, click next select the date b4 the prob started then continue and follow the instructions.

anytime mate, pisses my right off! and if im downloading music and it freezes, have to turn comp of and i lose it

could be over heating, ever thought of that. wen reboot, does your motherboard give you a CPU temp reading?

my pc used to freeze randomly just cause the PSU was upside down in the case, turned it the other way round worked fine lol

You need to get some temperature readings TBH. Is the case hot to touch, are the fans working normally? How hot is the air coming from the PSU fan? Is your hard drive getting excessively hot? Whats your system spec?
