well i could suggest a p2p platform like kazaa but that might be frowned upon as its infringing copyright - but i think u will find PCWORLD will have a copy for you - or i am sure any dodgy PC person you know wud be able to sort it

I used Win Me for about 2 years until the Service pack come out for Win XP Pro. I think it is one of the best operating systems Microsoft have done along with 2000 and now XP. If you only have a slow system then i would just format your HDD if this problem is causing you major problems. Or if you have a fast system then get hold of a copy of Win XP Pro with the Service Pack 1, it doesn't have to be built in as you can always download the Service Pack off the Microsoft web-site, i think it is about 120 meg so if you are using 56 k then you are best getting a copy of that too. Hope this helps. I’m afraid this is only the advice I can give; sorry.

I'd say Win 98SE. It crashed more than 98 and it was also slower.

Bung the CD in, tell it to upgrade, not new operating system, and then just follow the on screen instructions.

Me is crap.... I speak to Microsoft often about networking issues and operating systems for work... they hate ME more than the people using it... its unstable and has the worst communications and networking problems out of all the main 4 operating systems out at the moment. Rid it off, and get 2k / XP
