6610 on genie. i want another fone to use as well., can these 3G fones be unlocked?also do they have wap or full internet access? i wanted to use my genie sim in it

No mate they cant be unlocked cos 3G sim cards use a different voltage to regular market sim cards, thats why there so secure. I was gonna do same with mine but my mates a phone technican and said thats one of the things they kept in mind while developing the 3 phones, Only can use 3 sim cards in.

3G phones use a completely different waveband to normal phones, and no, you cant 'unlock' them cos there's nothing that will run on the waveband the phone is designed for.

You can't get 3G reception in most places anyway, so they just revert back to regular 2G. Better of letting the technology develop before buyin.
