Got a set of Yokos on my car at the moment, and ive used them up in 2000 miles.
Need to get some new ones, what do people recommend? I found that the Yokos where good in the dry, v.bad in the wet, and have warn a lot faster then i had hoped. Prepared to pay the money out on the best tyres, but not sure which make to go for.
Any recommendations?!
Cheers

I'd have to agree, Toyo's are the best all rounders, good looks, good performance, good price How the f*ck you get through a set of rubber in 2000??

Dont wheel spin at all, the odd handbreak to get round the tight corners or turn round, but nothing bad. I think its cos i fly around the roundabouts!
Looked at the Toyos the other day, anyone else use anything else?

i heard Toyos were quite soft a compound but i dont know from personal experience, ive got Continental 195/40/16s(think you have 16s) and they are fecking brilliant, the thread pattern is well different aswell!!!!! About £70 but well worth it!!!!!!

Yeah Auto express did a tyre test a few weeks aso in all conditions with different types of driving and I think it was the continental that came out overall winner. you could also try the new michelin pilot sport. They r supposed to be good.

I have just bought a new set of Falken ZE512's with rim protectors.
Not really had chance to give them a proper test yet, but I will on my way to work and report how I found them to be.

Continental/Uniroyal Rainsport 1's, very good tyre with excellent grip in wet and dry (beter than toyos in both on online tests) and cheaper than toyos too. Have a deep tread with a smart pattern, much like the toyo one. I'd reccomend them to anyone!
