have you tried the same cures for the msblast? Dont suppose anyone on here has a copy of it do they? My uncle has asked me for one cos hes a network security guy and needs it for a demonstration. If i downloaded it would it run on my computer, or would it just be stored there?

The files to look out for with the new variants of the MS.Blaster.worm virus are:
MS.Blaster.A = msblast.exe
MS.Blaster.B = penis.exe
MS.Blaster.C = teekids.exe
There's also W32/Sobig.f@MM (brand-new variant), W32.Welchia.worm, and W32/Nachi.worm......watch out for lots more over the next few days, as people try to imitate the original Blaster.worm virus, and make it worse (more damaging).

i've just had four e-mails with the w32.sobig.F@mm virus in them from hotmail accounts i've never heard of. Norton Antivirus picked them up and sent them straight to quarantine. I'm running Win98. Is it just through e-mail it gets on pc's or can it through cookies etc?? I don'y know much about this stuff.
