who has em, what would they reccomend, whats gonna take the most abuse!!??
Im thinking of spending up to 1k (preferably £750ish) on a motorcross bike.
Always used to go down the fields on them as a kid and I figured it would be a good way to spend a few Saturdays/Sundays havin a smoke and falling off a motorbike without killin myself
I know theres 1 or 2 people on here with them so what do you reccomend for the money? And where do i buy a 2nd hand bike? (internet search came up with 1000s of American sites!)
I was thinking an old Air cooled Honda, like a CR 125 or something
any help would be appreciated

Never been raced.
We prefer not to buy raced bikes.
I was gonna get a 250 but with a 125 you can throw it around more.
Jumps and all that stuff if you know what i mean.
Would you come to Luton to collect it mate.
One of the lads is selling a KX125 97model for £1200 but i could try and get him down if you like.
No pics at the moment but he is coming out on Saturday with us.
Try and get some pics for ya.

you wont be able to get anything decent for that kind of cash!
i have just sold my 2002 yamaha yz125 for £2500, but i had a full mcgrath replica and used to race
look in the local yellow paper or trials and motocross news
for that money i would get a kx125 or something around 1997, the cr125 had an aluminium frame in 1997 and there nice!
dont get anything bigger than a 125 if youre a first timer

Fuckin moto-x bikes r sound, i used to do it but bought a trialsbike too, went off moto-x and ended up buyin a brand new Montesa 315R, hoping to get another moto-x bike after i have paid off my debts.
I had a KX which went like fuck but if i got another it would either be YZ or KX again, just been offered a YZ426F for £2150 but its jus a bit too much £££ at the min.
