pill is effective from 7 days if she is not on the rag. if she is on the rag then you do not need to wait however this is only for the combination pill

if u take the pill on the first da of ure period u are covered from then onwards. if u take it any other time its 7 days. same if u are sick of miss one. u take it for 4 weeks then u have a 7 day break where u stop takin it and have a period then start takin it again 7 days later. if this is the case u are covered by the pill durin that time.

rite she did start takin it on her period but im not sure if it was the 1st day as hers are pretty short...

much simpler if she just gets the injection form of contraception. much fewer side effects, and less intensive side effects, and she only needs an injection every 3 months
