i know on the newer SXI's vauxhall used stiffer springs to firm the ride up but im not to sure on the older SXI's.
If ur thinking of a better suspension your best bet would probably be to pick up a cheap set of springs, shocks.

I have a 99 reg corsa b sxi and i believe it is slightly lower than the earlier models but i dont think the differance is very noticeable to be honest im in the process of sorting my suspension out at the mo want a 60mm drop ideally

Yea thats right, the newer sxi and sports were ment 2 be 10mm lower that the other models
