I have just ordered 2 Lighting audio X1.12.VC2 subs like these  and the audiobahn A2300HCX amp  All i have to do now is wait about 2 months for delivery

yeah, recuced from $2400 to $900, so i thought it was worth it. Costing me i think £750 for the lot including postage.... Amp is 1200w x2 @1ohm, subs are 1000w rms each. Ive never done a proper install before, so this could be a good learning experience. trouble is though, i got no more £ and i need a new altenator, battery and wiring kit! Ah well, better do some more hours!

M7 m8 orderd £1000's worth of Blank DVD Disks. From USA. Only to find he got through customs ok( Brought from internet ) 3 days letting getting a email saying he has to pay more Tax e.t.c.
Then he had PPL turning up on his doorstep!

i know i asked this before, but didnt get a reply. If the speakers are dual 2ohm coils, is that 1 ohm total impedance, or does it depend how they are wired up? Ive only had shitty subs before, so i dont know if the connections are different on this or not!

It depends how you wire them up, you can either make the sum 4ohm or 1 ohm, or you could use one amplifier per coil.
The only difference you'll have with the sub is that it will have two sets of terminals, one for each coil. To show the amp a 1 ohm load from the dual 2 ohm speaker you have to wire the coils in paralell.
