Would prob b a nova. V cheap conversion, but no-where near as good as the 16v.

Personnally, i'd rather have a 1.4 16v over a 1.6 8v.

if your gonna do it at least use a nova engine, the cav one only has 75 bhp, at least the nova one is 100 bhp.

fuel consuption check parkers
cud get a nova 1.6 gsi engin but gettin a 1.4 multipoint would be ok they have bout 80bhp
fasilin that get a valver 1.4 1.6

Got for a 1.4 16v mate. Drops straight in, altho different header tank and radiator required.

Get em for bout £250-£300 quid, and it will only take ur insurance from grp 3->5. Not bad for double the power, and half the 0-60 time.

Oh, and get ur self a decent zaust, decat, filter etc with that and u'll be laughin right past the 100bhp mark.

A 1.6 8v corsa, will be pushing around 110 bhp with full zaust (de catted) and filter........will pull away.....with EASE.....from a 1.4 16v corsa with the same mods.
