I'm not a mechanic or anything, but if your head gasket had gone, couldn't you just put a new one on?

Even if it damaged the head, surely you could have just got a replacement (or even a replacement engine)?

Tim is selling a 1.2 16v engine and box for about £200 or something?

No the quotes to get it fixed were around the £500 quid mark so no im not thick as two short planks fag boy, go crawl back under the stone u came from do us all a favour.
