I have a snooper that has a cigarette lighter adaptor on it. My car doesnt have a fag lighter so would it be possible to wire it directly to the battery.
If I just cut the adaptor off the end where do I put the wire, just to the positive or will it need going to the neg as well. If it needs wiring to 2 places will the wire be split inside.
Also would you recommend puttin an in-line fuse in it and if so what rating should I put in?

If you do wire it direct to the battery you will be best to fit a fuse in the circuit too.
You'll have to figure out what fuse a snooper needs but it won't be a big one.

I patched my Snooper (well it aint a snooper but same thing) into the back of the fag lighter. You should have the wires there still so patch in.

The adapter should have a fuse in it so open it up and use that, connect the positive to the battery or to a 12v live wire and earth it to the cars body it all goes back to the battery anyway.

Where r the wires 4 the fag lighter?
Do they just need a positive feed and earthin?
There was a lighter in a corsa in the scrappies on saturday so do i just need the actual lighter unit itself or do i need some wires?
