in desktop mode, press the jostick right, press *, then press joystick left twice, then *, then left again, then * again.

Been doing that on my Ericssons since I had a T28.. we used to see how many times we could open and close the flip in a minute.

I was special about 5 years ago. I had a GA628, and used a similar trick to enable the alarm function. The phone had no clock though, so the alarm never went off.

The extra menus just lest you views firmware info, stuff like that, and lets you test things like the microphone, and makes the screen flash all hippy colours and that. The T68 counted how many times the joystick had been used, and the t28 how many times the flip had been opened.
