hi all
i know this will sound stupid to alot of you, but im new so dont know much.
if i was to buy a 1.2l corsa then fit a 1.6 / 2.0 engine in latter on, do i need to inform DVLA and the insurance company of the change. only thinking this as the numbers on engine would be different
as what sort of price would it be to get a 1.6 gsi engine and get it fitted

Yes you do have to notify the DVLA and insurance company of any change in engine size.
As for fitting the 1.6 i'd say about £1-1.5K all in there's a guy on here Lee Mitchell who's meant to be very good
