i parked up in bath today, to pop in and pick up a key from a shop. when i came out, there was a parking attendant writting summit down about my car, and then a member of the public interupted him and started talking to him. so i quickly jumped in the car and drove off. am i right in saying he didnt distribute the ticket, therefor i can't be fined?

yep thats correct.
they put it on my car. i screwed it up and threw it at him.
he gave it back i did the same again.
this was 18months ago and the ticket now stands at £120!
i refduse to pay as i had a visitors permit clearly dislpayed.
his answer?

parking wardens make me laugh, i saw one walking down the high street, and there was a car parked on double yellows, blocking the whole high street, and he carried on plodding his way down, i wudda ran and caught the fucker

lol this happened to me as well.
was in the shop for literally 2mins to check the price of something.
came outside, saw him writing my plate details and reading my tax disc. quickly got into the car, and got away. Luckily the road was clear for the clear escape, if there were cars he would have put it on the car. When i left him he was putting the ticket in the plastic sleeve thing, so he was definately giving me a ticket!!
i never heard of it again

I used to smile at the parking attendants when I used to get tickets on my van in London. Cos I knew that the company I worked for could get off them, or if they couldn't they had to pay, either way I never lost anything

i would like to wire 50 000 volts through my wiper blade so when the parking warden picks it up to put a ticket on my car he/it gets a very nasty shock.

Here is a story, While moving the showroom cars around we had three cars outside on yellow lines, and had one lookout at the door, he called us when he saw a TW so we all legged it outside to get a car each, i sat there at the side of the road cos the other cars had to go in first and i noticed the TW starting to take my details so i took a trip round the block hoping that when i got back she would have gone, so off i went, when i got back she was still there!! 5 minutes after i had left, she must have been psychic or something as i pulled up to reverse the car into the showroom she threw the ticket through the passenger window and walked off! BEEEEEEHHAARCH!!

if she threw it at you then its abusive (get her fired) she also didnt follow her rule book that states its to be placed on the windscreen not the drivers face or wereever it may land as you could have been distracted and caused a ple up or something.

Try working in London!!!!! The worst ticket inspectors anywhere. They really are the dumbest people alive, just plodding around, giving tickets to anyone they feel like, doesn't matter about any permits etc. They just give the tickets to get their quota.
The amount of times i've written to various councils in london and basically told tehm to stuff their ticket up their anus's I think i've had to write about 4-5 times.
Parking ticket people = mindless homos

i illegally park all the time, sometimes 2 hours at a time, never ever had any tickets or seen any TWs

That was in London, Mayfair to be exact, it was some african woman, she was too fuckin quick! i blinked and she was gone. i think she ran down an alley cos i was givin her some verbal abuse. Either way i didnt have to pay for it my company did.
