Hi,
Anyone who uses this - are you having problems downloading ANYTHING off it at the mo. Everytime i try to download something i just get a connectUrl error. Was working fine last week.
PS: Don't post about what ur downloading else the post will be shut!

Reinstalling Windows fixed it for me......but it wasn't the only reason I reinstalled my O/S, before you say!

right i figured it out......might be useful if anyone else has a similar problem.
Basically NTL was running really shite last week so I forced a different proxy server in IE. Just turned this off and now BT is working fine!

I wasn't using a proxy server, but my firewall was seriously knackered (to the point where I couldn't run it, or uninstall it). So, to fix that, and a few other little bugs that had crept into Windows (bugs? in Windows?), I formatted c:\ and reinstalled on a freshly empty partition.
Running nicely now, downloading at anything up to 62k/sec...
