Hi,

Did anyone learn to drive in or does anyone know of any driving schools in the Hemel Hempsted region using Ford Ka's as learner cars ?

Why u after driving schools with Ka's?

I saw a learner in a new Golf the other day! Alright for some, i learnt in a Diesel Corsa, dont even think it was TD either!

I am teaching my gf to learn in my Ka, she would also like to get one as her first car, so its a good way to help her. She understands a good chassis too and so wants a good car that handles well too

I saw a driving school the other day which used MG ZR's. Not a bad learning car at all! I learned in a nissan almera. Not that bad, had nice gear box.

I was reading the performance figures on these and i was appalled, they have 1.6 16v engines yet do 0-60 in 11.5 and top end of 109 (i think) thats comparable to my 1.2 16v

The ka is a 1.6 8v with 95hp. It would be a sportka 0-60 in 9.7 but its her first car so...
