Me and a few of the lads have made a point of trying to go away to different places for weekends of various pissed antics and we thought Edinburgh would be a good place to go next.
Basically all I'm after is any recommedations of good hotels, pubs and clubs to keep an eye out for as none of us has ever been and really haven't a clue what to expect

Get hammered and wonder about  or wait till Kindness is home and contact him he'll show ya's about  or you could also again wait till November and come out with all of us guys

Is there like a bit where there are loads of bars within walking distance of each other i.e. the Quayside in newcastle or is it all spread out?
As for the date when we're going it was going to be some time in November

The MTV awards are being held in Edinburgh on the 9th of November so its unlikely that you will be able to get a hotel for that weekend although it will probably be the busiest and best weekend to come.

grassmarket has loads of pubs on same street
