The c16xr roared into life today, a bit on the LOUD side with no zorst or cat tho!!! I need a cat or something, do u think somewhere cud knock me up a mild steel chunk from a nova section to bypass it?

Great news about the engine matey, kinda looking foward to getting back from my holiday so i can come get it and fit it and i havnt even gone yet!!!!. Bodyshop is gonna have me GSi till monday now but i will pop in on sunday and get the bumper if i can. I rang them yesterday to see how things were goin and mentioned the bumper and they siad its in the skip!!!!! Got them to get it out though, I think the top bumper mountings where the bumper meets the arch are broken, so dont know what ya wanna do, but like i said ya can have it for nothing

nothing ventured nothing gained they say :-) Im gonna whack the car together tonite n tomoro, its ticking over nicely at just over 900rpm, I gotta get some more oil- its running on 10/40 semisynthetic as its only 60k on clock.
When are you free for me to come and get the bumper matey? I think Im gunna squeeze it into a weekday evening or sometime at the weekend
