whats this and does it get removed when u fit the cat back system,

p.s. i was told it might b the cat but i wasnt sure, if it is the cat i presume that the exhaust pipe aint welded on to it can be unbolted??

Its not the cat, the Cat is a massive drum like thing on the down pipe. It looks like a silver KFC mega bucket. I'm not sure wot that is but i think its something used to heat distribution

It's a flexable coupling so when you rev the engine the exhaust doesn't snap/knock.

When you fit a cat back system on Corsa C you need to cut the standard exhaust.
