I think there should be a thread with all the insurance companies and their websites and numbers, so people will know a thread is there with the information without continuously having to ask all the time!
Would also be usefull as some people may know companies that others don't so there'l be a wider range of companies to quote from to get the best deal! 
Just an idea!!!

A letter? Would be much easier when it comes to renewal aswell, as you could just pop into the thread and click links!!!!

i got a letter off churchill to say ur insurance is due and it will cost 1151 to renew.
