I bought mine new for £7.5k so doubt he will get £7.5k when he sells

from looking at a dealers website an 03 with 0 miles goes for £7999, an 03 with 5k miles is up 4 £7499, so somewhere around £7300 would be the most to expect for it.

Bought mine for £8.5 on an 02 plate and its worth £6.3k standard now apparently

Spend the rest of the money on C13.

getting an astra coupe in march, they aren't replaced til 2005, but they'll start doing some decent deals soon - hopefully!

The 1.6 is almost exactly the same performance as the Corsa 1.2 so it won't be much better really, just a bit bigger, and will depreciate in value quite a bit quicker than your corsa.

For it to be worth the change aim for a 1.8 or 2.0

the 0-60 is 10secs, my car is 12. Thats a bit more. I could probably get teh 1.8 anyway, insurance is soo cheap on astra's
