Finally got the buggers off! looks soooo much nicer. I Found that using a paint stripper heat gun to heat up the strips works wonders as it leaves hardly any glue. my paint work has no defects and is a perfect colour match. White spirit works a treat on getting the glue gone.
Getting my new Wheels Soon! and a 40mm Drop, Can't Wait!

looks good i took mine off to find diffrent paint underneth it. but that looks spot on

Unlucky! i was quite suprissed i didn't have the same problem. been putting it off for a while as i here what happens like with you guys. Would you be able to give us an estimate for having all the outside blackbits colour coded (roof rails, scuttle, fr & re bumpers, door handles, boot handle) thanks

i'm after doing the same thing,

painting my rubstrips on the bumeprs and the mirrors the same as the car.

i thought all b's came with colour coded mirrors anyways?

mine doesnt have coded mirrors, and after the bloody frustration of my handles and bootlock surround, i dont think ill be rushing to paint my mirrors just yet.

plus id have to leave them off for at least like 5 days, to paint them and give them a good chance to dry, as when i did my bootlock surround i put it on about an hour after i finished spraying it and the cold night turned the laquer cloudy, making it look bright pink.

i bought my paint from halfords, the 300ml cans, damn on perfect match for my flame red, but im an obsessive compulsive cleaner/Tcutter/waxer so my paint looks like new.

i payed 200 for the arches front and rear bumpers, bumpstrips (safer thn takin them off on star silver lol) handles and boot bit including paint.
