I NEED SOME HELP PEOPLE ON THE ABOVE, I THOUGHT IT WOULD JUST FIT IN BUT IVE BEEN TOLD OTHERWISE.

why do u want to put a corsa c engine into a corsa b

been offered one thats all for £100, only done 14000 miles from a 2001 corsa.

more hassle than its worth, for a start the speedo cable is electronic on the C and manual on the B which will be a ballache in itself to change over

woah, no wonder i felt so detatched from the driving experience when i was driving my mums 01 corsa compared to my 97, it felt totally uninvolved, where in mine you are part of the drive. wierd that i noticed that..

this is true the steering is to light u dont get enogh feed back from the road and the throtle aint that responsive!but then 1.2s aint that responsive anyways!

I'm currently gettin a Corsa B 1.6 16v in to my Corsa C, it should be back from the garage within the next 2 weeks. Not sure how easy it would be to get a C engine in to a B tho, but they're having to make up a custom right hand engine mount and weld it to the chassis to get the 1.6 in. Everything else fits....its not finished yet so will let you know if there's any more complications.

who is doing this and how much is it costing u??

thought this conversion is very hard due to the fly by wire throttle on the corsa C and the completely differant wiring looms of the C compared the the B.

Even the brake's work diferantly compared to the B.

how many £££ well the engine conversion is 1500 and there is 600 quid of tunning goining on it plus more bodywork

Good luck to ya then, thats a good price if all goes well

It seems many places are either unwilling to do a conversion on the C, or charge the earth for it
