I was thinkin the othe day , y is there corsa b and corsa c, but no A??? i later on found out on a german website a corsa A is a nova in other countrys..... strange

Yes, Vauxhall Nova is known as Opel Corsa A in Europe because in Spanish, Nova means slow or something. So thats why

craig, its true. Corsas are just re shelled novas. All the underneath and floorpan are the same.

but a corsa b does hav any simularities to a nova, they basically 2 different cars.
Cos bout a month ago i saw a opel corsa, but it was a nova... and i though sum1 just stuck a badge on it 2 look kool

no it goes like this
UK - Vauxhall Nova, Corsa B, Corsa C
Mainland Europe - Opel Corsa A, Opel Corsa B, Opel Corsa C
they are very similar cars mechanically. They share gearboxes and engines, as well as most underpinnings etc.

not quite, corsa has a wider track, but they are pretty much the same.

Well they both share the 1.2 8v injection and carb engines, the 1.4 8v injection engines as well as the F10 4/5speed gearbox and F13CR gearbox.

What makes you say this? they share so many components!!
i agree, they share all suspention apart from antirole bars, the 1.5 d and td engines infact as said about 50 % of the cars are the same.

if you took a Corsa & a Nova they would look like too totally different cars due to the body, but the fact is they share a lot of the same running gear
