Fuck my brains not working properly today.
Ive got 3000XP Athlon, in my new machine, with the Quantispeed and I'm well impressed, but to be honest I dont know enough to say one better than the other.

I've heard that as well mate, got mine from Mesh Computers and they do a range of systems specifically for gamers and everyone of them has an Anthlon, bit of a coincidence?

Yeah been looking at Mesh - they look really good..... when did you get yours and what spec is it?? Did you get a games one?? If so how much if you dont mind me asking......
Yeah all the gameing ones seem to come with Athlon and nvidia as standard and others seem to have Pentium and ATI.

What are the graphics like on a 256mb card - I have played games on 128mb cards, I would imagine is double as good if that makes sence...... is that the case??
Can you play really graphical games without any slowdown at all??
And also did you do finance, if yes what are there options like?? Cheers

Graphics are awesome mate, really smooth, haven't noticed any slow down hardly on any of the games I play. Sold my PS2 last week cause it's just pissy by comparison.
Not sure what the finance is like as I bought mine through the family business.

family buisness - you lucky bugger...
mmm might have to sell my PS2 to raise some cash - Just sold my Xbox for £400 - I get £250 of that as the rest is my brothers..... I get more because I bought more games
So thats £250 towards it If I can sell the PS2 for at least £300 as its chipped and has loads of games Then that would be £550 only another 1k to go then

ive just got a AMD XP3000+, 512mb DDR, 80gb Maxtor, DVD drive, CDwritter, ASUS motherboard and a Geforce FX5200 128mb (not the best, but i get 250fps in Counter strike ) all for 300 quid...BARGIN !! Thats just for the box btw, it was to replace my mine so got mouse/monitor etc.
Although, build your own system mate, for 600 quid you could get a MINT machine, you just need to know where to look for the parts Also, if you get the chance to raid your system, do it mate....im missing mine on my old machine, used to load stuff alot quicker (useful for games etc).
