Author rear bias valve is pissing me off !

am thinink of removing it altogether and putting in either low spec corsa pressure dependant type in
or
manual adjustment motorsport ones

coz my weight dependant vale seems fucked i feel this coz whenever i have braked hard ive ended either sideways or the rears have locked

i had 3 different grages look and ajust clean my rear brakes and its still shafted

mine is the same, ive adjusted the spring fully, then i moved the arm thing down with an allen key, still get them locking up, im gonna raise the back to 30mm up from 60mm and see if that works.

mines always done it
unlowered lowered makes no difference
so i thinkim gonna take the set up of a lower model the pressure dependent type or a 1.2 and just use new valves i doubt they would be as much as my current valve £143.00 without fitting !

you will also need to get brake lines made up also, and you cant buy these from vaux, they have to be specially made.

do you still have to have the bias valve weight dependant one if u have rear disks??

yes definately cos you will need to limit the rear brakes from what they are or else it will be worse than it is now.

i get cha
its ok u can get thhe creect lengths from vaux and u gotta bend them to shape
or takeold one to a car shop and theyll make one
im pretty sure that i can get corsa 1.2 pressure type valves and get the pipes made up.

is there any way to test the bias valve?
coz ive got a spare on here.

Are your front discs or pads worn because I find that when mine get low under hard breaking my back end becomes scatty

front disks pads are nearly new greenstuff pads and red.dot disks and braided brakes hoses

the disks pads yes the braided hoses no garage did that and changed me fluid with it

one of my rear wheels locked up on sunday when braked at roundabout....

twas a bit scary............

Happened to me on thurday.

I dont have the rear conpensator valve as its a 1.2. It does is round corners quite easily now.

its leathal in the wet isnt it, my back end goes all the time, my brakes are mega spongy too, and i just changed the fluid, got new 2l calipers to go on though
