Anyone know much about this and how much it costs roughly?
My mates thinking about having it done to his 206 1.6 8v. Is it worth his while doing it? Or will he hardly notice the difference?

i got it done on my 1.6 16V corsa, cost about £100 but ya got the cost of removing the head and refiting on top of that so its probbly about £200 all in, i would say it is worth doing i expect to gain around 5 BHP but it could be more

£100 is well cheap for a decent port. Expect to pay around £300-£400 for a top job by a company with a top rep, eg blydenstein.
