lol i didnt realise either mate! chewy told me, i had no idea! I prob wont keep the car for 3 years, but it will be ok for now I hope!

I have just spoken with technical at vx...the cat is situated in the front pipe for the 1.4 NOT centre silencer so I think Im ok lol!!

the exhaust only has 2 box's the front box which is the cat and the backbox

lol I know it has 2 box's but its not situated in the box itself but in the front pipe.

All petrol corsa C's have the cat on the manifold. They also have two lambda sensors so if you remove the cat a fault is flagged.(one before cat, one after)

just had a look on my face lift 1.4 sri and the cat is just below the manifold between the engine and the radiator. looks the same as my old 1.2 sxi

Good old Haynes, the engine pics on the same page are of a 8valve engine?
The diagram of the exhaust is right, the labeling is wrong.

thats weird i had my centre box removed about a yr ago, and today i got a small pipecraft centre box, its still loud and souds proper beefy but dont humm thru the car like it did, and u can talk with the windows down lol

im thinking about doing that aswell now mate! does it sound better with the centre silencer back in coz at the mo mine is so loud u cant talk to the person next 2 u on a motorway and also rasps quite a bit!

wrong only on 1.0 and 1.2 on the 1.4 it's the centre box
