When I drop my car onto my drive and put the handbrake on right to the top my car still rolls. It only holds if I leave it in reverse.
Whats wrong with it?? I dont think handbrake is dodgy cos it tightens right to the top.
Could it be the shoes??? and if it is how much roughly are they (corsa c)??

sounds like the mechanism that locks the shoes needs altering, it thinks its getting tight but obviously the shoes aint catching so it'll be a case of a garage making sure everythings tight and then u shud b fine!
Dont think its anything sinister tho

could be ure shoes but it could also me the cable.
i have the same problem with mine but i know my cable is about to go PING  cos its all frayed down near the drivers side wheel.
