i want to run renault wheels on my corsa, and the offset needs taking down from around 38mm, to something friendly for a corsa; less than -46mm hopefully.

there doesn't seem to be a massive athickness of metal on the mounting face, so i was wondering if it could be done safely or not.
what sort of minimum thickness should be left for it to be strong enough?
