check your wheel bolts are all tighetened up fully. Not taking the piss, speaking from experience here...

Then get the tracking sorted. If it's alloys torque them up to 90n/m...

if it knocks when on lock its the cv joint mate to many wheel spinns im a mechanic n see this alot in yonger owners of cars (dident look @ your profile so sorry if your older )

its on a 106 gti. no i dnt wheel spin or nowt, ive put it on full lock and its ok, just when im about 50mph, would it b bearings??

wheel bearings would cause a rumbling sound, and unless braking hard, I doubt youd be able to feel it in the car. Like I said before, check your wheelbolts are tight up.

try checkin the anti roll bar drop likks as it shifts the bodys weight it would knock as it rolls (dose it knock once or twice or is it like a rottating knock )
