what is the difference between f13 gearbox for petrol and for diesel engines? any gear ratio is different?

i would imagine that they are same as if they had different ratio's surely they would have different part codes

but as there is f13 with 4 speed and 5 speed they do not have different name

well if thats the case the diesel would have shorter ratio's (i think) compared to the petrol

i need to know exactly cause if i fit one with sorter ratio
1st it would not last long on a diesel and 2nd i will effect my car performance

you need the f13 wr not the f13 or f13 cr like on the petrols.
