Hello,
I have found the two different adapter pods available for the corsa B, the 13cm and the 17cm. What I dont understand is, because the original speakers are 13cm, how does a new pod and therfore the small 13cm gap then accomodate a 17cm speaker?! Does it actually fit behind the grill? I've looked through the forums and have found the infinity ones that supposedly fit in the doors, but they are the 17cm ones, so i'd quite like to know if they fit!
Thanks very much

i have 17cm alpine speakers and yes they fit, you nay need to bash the metalwork a tiny bit depending on magnet size.
The most important thing is magnet depth, if there too deep the magnet will hit on the window, like with my new speakers.

if u look behind the plastic door pod, the existing standard bracket its diameter is enough to accomodate the 13cm speaker, the 17cm adaptor is same thing but wider in diameter to accomodate the 17cm speaker, so all u doing is swapping over the adaptors

ohh ok fair enough. i've been reading around a lot more posts, there just billions and quite a few with conflicting information. what i'd really like to know is what are the best speakers i can get for £100 that will fit without any modification (apart from the adapter)? They will be run through my Pioneer headunit, which is 4x50watt (max) and 27watt continuous.
Thanks very much!
p.s. i need for them to be garunteed to fit! thank you!!

Too many to list TBH but for a 110% safe bet (assuming they still do them?) try some Kenwood DualMags as they have very small magnets on them.
Other than that, have a browse on www.caraudiodirect.com

£100 will get u ALPINE ALPINE ALPINE!
im gonna get the SPR76A, brilliant speakers ive heard, but you will need some work to fit them coz they are 17cm by 2.75inch depth,
But if your gonna spend that much man you may as well do the work to get them to fit, will be well worth it
