hi ive just bought a 1995 corsa sri with 94k on the clock, ive just fittid a new driveshaft but when i was moving it to go to the pit to fill it up with oil it stopped driving now its selecting gears but not moving you can start it up with it in gear with no clutch, its making a slight wining noise.
please help what could have gone on it.

ive found out what it is the driveshaft has pulled out at the gearbox end i think i might have got the wrong one. so i will have to check it out.

are you sure you hadnt just not pushed it in all the way?

i think it was in all the way it only lost drive when i had put it on full lock thats why in suspecting it to be to short, does anybody know the actual length for the driveshaft for this car.

the drive shaft would have to be the wrong length sure when ya put all the suspension back together its locked in place.
