as title i just got a new head fitted it and the inlet is pissing water out where the alternator is it has had a new gasket on it

check that the inlet manifold is secured proper & change inlet manifold gasket if required
sounds like wasnt tightened up enough

there is a coolant hose behind alternator have u got it fitted to inlet correct???

there's a banjo type hose under the fuel rail i think that should go to the small header tank inlet??

its not any off the hoses it is coming from the inlet

Take it off and check for warping of the mating surfaces. RTV is good because it will take up the gaps if it is warp'd, but kinda hard to do with the tiny amount of space you'd have, also clean off the surfaces throughly before trying again.

you need a flat edge, like the side of a ruler, place it along the face if there's any gaps then it's warp'd. RTV (romm temp vulcanising rubber) it's like bathroom sealant. I use marine grade stuff for my engine and have had no problems on my 20XE nor my 14XE using this.
