i've got this amp which i've tested in my mates car and works perfect but when i install it in my car it won't work - the power light flickers and the turns off.
I've checked and swapped the remote turn on lead. and i've moved the earth into 3 different places, including the earth point everything else is hooked up to in the boot.
What could the problem be? I think its something to do with the head unit - Kenwood 8024 - not being able to offer a constant 12v power for the amp to stay on as i have checked everything else. Theres mentions of a circuit to be made using the ignition live, but i've never had to do n e thing like this before.
my car has an electric ariel, i don't know if this affects n e thing with the amp turn on leads?
