hey guys dont really post that much cos o work but got a wee problem and hope use can help.
my mates got a 93 gsi and his petrol tank was leaking so he got one from a scrappy from a 2000 1.2 16v but now some1 has told him it mite be da wrong one 
is this true cos o different fuel pumps or summat liek dat??
any1 any ideas?

the gsi does have a bigger fuel pump than the 1.2 will have but it shouldnt be too hard to swap them over

will the tank be different tho? as supposedly the holes at the top can be different sizes.

Will be the same.
If the hatch to get to the pumps is different then just put the mpi pump in the spi carrier.
