A mate of mine has a standard vaux headunit (in a corsa B), but lately has been playing up! when you switch it on, the display lights up, then cuts out. theres no sound, radio station, tape displayed etc. I personally havent had a look yet but has anyone any thoughts as to what the problem may be? (BTW she wants to keep the standard headunit)

Its probably a fault with the unit. Stuff like that happens when there is a problem with its internal amplifier/circuitry
