allright,
i have just bought a lap top, and it has wireless.
my PC doesnt tho.
can i access the internet (but dont have broadband) through my lap top if my PC had wireless?
if so what would i need?

Do people still use dialup
just get broadband and get a wireless router.

maybe he cant get it
but yes, wireless network card or USB adaptor on the pc, then run a proxy server of some sort (or use windows own connection sharing software) and then just make sure there on the same subnet etc etc its pretty easy mate, but will be abit slow if someone is using the pc as well

Don't start me on wireless tonight. I'm still setting mine up. Desktop is taking about 5 minutes to start up and laptop got chucked on the floor Other laptop i haven't set up yet so still works fine
Oh, and a monitor i bought from Computer Plus has the wrong power supply so i've gotta take that back too
