I hav a 2litre to go into my corsa, i can only get my hands on an f18 gearbox! will this work ok and what problems might i have once fitted eg slower topend, possibilaty of breckin gearbox!

the f18 works as thast whats on mine at the moment, just gonna get the f20 as soon as i can tho

ive heard of ppl even using f16's however i wouldnt want to risk it as the gearbox's arnt really designed to handel the power, try and get a f20 asap and do job right first time, i was going to use cav driveshafts but ended up forking out the extra for regal ones and then had the chew of having to change em better to do it properlly in one go i think.

gd gd just got multipoint fuel bump fitted today in mine and took it round the block, the amount of pull it has is scarey, obv didnt over do it just taking it easy till i get used to it, got it booked in to have tracking done tomoz and i should be on the road properly, i think that now makes me and you the only valver corsa's in NE region

wkd! the only valver ones that come on here anyway, ive seen 1 in sunderland fuckin rapid!!! im just gunna get it in and get used 2 it 4 a gud few months the start modin it. thinkin of gettin it chipped soon tho.

F16/F18 box are fine!
F18 from a veccy is a very tall box IIRC
F16 CR is quick on a C20XE corsa as my mate had one! if i where to change my box i would get an F16
