Right collected a customers car to give it a once over and MOT and then bring it up to speed generally as it's been sat for a long time. Failed it's MOT on minor bits and bobs. On of which was a split CV boot, so it gave me the excuse to fit the new equal length set up as it's been waiting to go on anyways. Safe to say it's made the car a little nicer to pull off in. No more fighting thr steering wheel and made the steering oddly lighter too.
I've got a how too guide I'll ve doign if anyone needs any help with this.
Doesn't help trying to get the power of this down.

The shafts, you can see the bent and the mount for the equal one.

Mounted in the car, I'll get better ones when it's up on ramps soon.

hope you enjoy. 8)

using different length shafts = torque steer to buggery
benefits of above is no more torque steer.

No, you might be able to if you run a F20 and big CV hubs, bu I'm not sure of the lugs in the block are in the right place if you did.
It's only for 2L boys who's cars aren't factory handling anymore
The shafts can be had from:
any cally (non 4x4)
Any ecotec cav and GSI's
They are pretty cheap to pick up £30-45 and you only need to get the 2 piece one, the short shaft is the same, unless you want both ABS rings on the front

Shoebox-sized spacers work a treat.

if they are cav gsi shafts they dont fit they are too long, you may mange to get them in and force the tie bars etc on however its hard to make the car go in a straight line, i know this as i was told they fit and have actually tried them, conversion took an extra week waiting for regal driveshafts.
