what do people use for cold air feed...

i got a piper X...

cant b arsed 2 spend £30 on one of theres

go to ure local DIY shop e.g. Focus, B&Q, Wickes and in the piping section u shud be able to get some flexi-metal pipe which is about 3-4" diameter and can be flexed about to fit in ure engine bay... sometimes they do it smaller

also its dirt cheap and u get lots of it

I left the original where it was, but sanded the insides down at both ends to help improve air flo, and then ran a large pipe directly undernieth, cable tied the two together!

If I was going to do this I think i'd route it to follow the wing round and be just behind the vauxhall V grill so to get the best of the cool air too?

shortest route is as above, just behind the v-grille.
radiator hoses might restrict that though.

try and lead it to bottom of the bumper.

just remove the rubber seal from the bulkhead...

the extra airflow will cool the engine bay alot when moving

mines down in the lower grille.... u can see it just below the GB in number plate
