Parents just got a digi - cam, does it come with a cable that just plugs into PC and away u go or do u have to download anything?

comes with a usb cable.
depending on the age of your pc you can put the memory card into the computer

i always find that plugging the USB lead into a USB thingy on keyboard doesn't work
have to plug it into a USB thingy on the actual PC
in my experinces anyway

If you have XP on your computer then plug the usb into the pc and into the camera and press the power button on the camera and it will give you a pop up box to say where you want to open your photos to if not the put the disk in and it will load the program onto the pc then do the usb process.
And yeah the usb cable needs to be plugged into the pc box not the keyboard
